We work in conjunction with your DJ or entertainers and interface with their sound system or we can bring our own entertainers.
Fifteen minutes (or more) prior to your “Go Silent” time….guests are able to come to our designated area and pick up their own L.E.D. lighted headphones. Music will be playing in the headphones but guests will still be able to hear through the external speakers. As the ordinance time nears….the DJ/Emcee does a final countdown starting at 10…9…8……whipping the crowd into a frenzy as they countdown with him/her….and continues to 1, at which point he turns off the speakers and sends all music to the headphones only. It is a very interesting phenomenon.
The silence is odd, at first….but they soon come around and enjoy the new experience. It allows your guests to stay, enjoy the event, and PARTY ON until the midnight hour. One objection, suggested, is that this isolates guests from each other, yet, in fact, the opposite it true because guests can communicate even better on the dance floor because they are not competing with the sound system. The headphones are lightweight, adjustable for size, and have individual volume control for guest comfort and they are sanitized and charged between uses.
OUR headphones are designed with THREE CHANNELS which are indicated with Blue, Red, and Green L.E.D. lights on the headphones. We use the more powerful radio frequency (RF) wireless broadcast signal instead of a cheaper, less reliable Bluetooth signal. Our broadcast range is about 500 yards or 5 football field lengths (unobstructed) but is also related to building design (steel, cement, windows, levels, etc).
Typically the (main) DJ will broadcast live on Channel 1 (blue)….but also, alternative formats of music will broadcast on Channel 2 (red) and Channel 3 (green) using additional media players (iPods, etc). Guests can identify others listening to the same music by the color of their headphone lights.
This system isn’t relegated to use only in a noise ordinance situation. Many high-end clubs in Europe have been using this concept for nearly 10 years as a unique dance experience where they actually have THREE live DJs all playing different music. We are offering that DJ EXTRAVAGANZA option here, as well.
Finally, the design is such that the headphones can be worn in a variety of ways for guest comfort…or to not mess up a hairstyle.
Another option for headphone distribution is to place them at each table. For this event….we placed the headphones conveniently on the back of every chair.
